The Oniyama Specialist and Teaching Hospital (OSTH) functions as a specialty treatment center for respiratory disease management and as a referral laboratory for respiratory and metabolic testing. In addition, OSTH provides outpatient and specialty care. The immediate coverage area of this facility is inhabited by over 400,000 people and includes several communities within Liberia that were heavily affected by the Ebola virus disease outbreaks of 2014 and 2015.
